Bodkini Cartoon Models Project

PURPOSE:

Develop cartoon characters to support the Bodkini Dancewear brand:

Model Bodkini brand dancewear.

Decorate the website.

The intent is to provide the brand some personality, be something unique and cute, and support the concepts behind the Bodkini brand.

Additional characters will be designed for specific dancewear projects.

BODKINI BRAND PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS:

Empowered female. Strong, confident, bold, assertive, adventurous, and creative. Artistic expression through dance movement.

We want our customers who wear our apparel to feel good and feel comfortable.

ADDITIONAL USES OF BODKINI CHARACTERS:

Advertising/marketing materials (brochures, magazine ads, etc.).

Packaging and hang tags.

Retail displays, booth banners, and price placards.

Stationary, book covers.

Dance-themed Posters (mini and large).

Toys and dolls (future). To the extent that Bodkini characters have personalities that our customers enjoy, we will develop additional products based on them.

FIRST SET OF CHARACTERS:

Amiya and Kimber have a "classical" appearance. They are shown below, but the clothing is not yet colored in.

SECOND SET OF CHARACTERS:

Five "Supermodels" were developed to model swimwear for a previous project. These characters (Aida, Elise, Misa, Kenia and Isla) can be used to model modern dancewear (such as hip hop styles), and also be subjects in shirt images.

THIRD SET OF CHARACTERS:

Four characters, ages 13 and 16. They are new characters designed for the Reiyou comic strip, and were not originally intended to model dancewear. They are shown here to represent possibilities for additional designs for new characters targeted for specific dancewear projects.
